Welcome to Crossroads Inverness on 15 May 2008

Fundraising Events

Fundraising supports Crossroads by raising 25% of the funds needed to sustain the charity’s work. This is split between the Shop and the Fundraising Department.

Soup and Sandwich
One of our most successful fundraising events are the Soup and Sandwich Lunches which we hold in Spring and Autumn at the Crown Church Hall, Inverness.

The Fundraising Department raises income from a number of sources.  These include:

  • Donations
  • Legacies
  • Gift Aid
  • Collecting Cans
  • Fundraising events
  • The Marymas Medieval Fair
  • Trusts and Grants

The Department also produces its own annual Magazine and twice yearly Newsletter both available from the Crossroads Shop, office or by joining our mailing list.

For the second year running our well known local artist, Ros Rowell, donated an original Watercolour for us to use in our 'Year long raffle' to raise funds for Crossroads, Inverness. The winner was Mrs Leslie of Croy.Ros's other works can be seen on her website www.highlandart.com

Fundraising can take many forms from individual sponsored / organised events to local business support and ‘In Kind’ gifts. We always welcome anyone who can offer us a ‘one off’ hour’s help or regular, weekly, support.

If you have any questions regarding fundraising activities, or you would like to support our work then please feel free to phone Pamela Poston, our Fundraising Organiser, for an informal chat.

Notelets

Following the huge success of the Crossroads Inverness stationary, we have produced two more sets of Inverness and Highland views. These are available from the office and shop and cost £1.99 for 8 notelets bearing the Crossroads logo and charity details on the reverse. The Crossroads' Christmas cards will be available from the Eastgate Centre stand and also the shop throughout the festive period.
